The House Of Londinium

the memory

This photoshoot reimagines wallpaper as something far beyond ornamentation, a surface where memory settles into material form.

Walls quietly witness us: the laughter that lifts a room, the low hum of everyday conversation, the tender and the trying moments that shape a household. With time, these patterns become a kind of soft archive, their fibres holding traces of the lives lived around them.

Here, we explore that intimacy through our richly textured Dotsqu pattern offered on jutecloths: thick, durable, and tactile to the touch, offering both visual and sensory depth.

As furniture shifts and rooms reinvent themselves, any wallpaper remaining often untouched for decades, it can hold echoes of grandparents’ kitchens and childhood bedroom play and can provide a quiet constant, similar to a beautiful friend offering its steady presence whenever comfort was needed.
