This gigantic house would belong to no one and at night people could look up and see the brutalist lines from the external concrete stairwells light up from miles around.
Many house guests bringing music, tales of their city and unique creative solutions. As a creative collective the inhabitants would fight just causes whilst wearing pale yellow jumpsuits and eating stone soup.
No one would ever sleep and once there, no one would ever find their way back out.
Brutalist architecture was a political aesthetic, an attitude, a weapon, dedicated to the precept that nothing was too good for the ordinary people. 'Owen Hatherley'
