At The House Of Londinium we believe there simply is no garden more enchanting than Jardin Majorelle in Marrakesh. The beautiful oasis rescued by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, yet born of a four-decade labour of love by the visionary painter Jacques Majorelle.

We would sit with Jaques and Andree bathed in iconic Majorelle Blue, conversing wordlessly in the graceful language of gesture and breath as we absorbed Jaques new work and sipped hot moroccan tea.

As sun would set over the cuban villa, a design Jaques commissioned the architect, Paul Sinoir, to create, YSL (whose ashes are scattered in these mystical gardens), would join us as our dreams would start to ride wild through the gardens. Together we would chase them, holding tight onto their silver threads, galloping through each space in our minds.

In the distance berber music would play and the comforting scent of amber would fill the air.

We would most certainly visit this garden every night we slept on silk.
